What kinds of guided adventures does Lake Nipissing Outfitters offer?
We offer four guided adventure types year-round: guided boat tours on Lake Nipissing and the Upper French River, guided paddle tours by kayak or canoe, guided ATV tours on Northern Ontario trails (3-hour and full-day), and guided snowmobile tours on the OFSC trail system in winter. Each trip is tailored to your pace and experience level.
Do I need experience to join a guided tour?
No. Guided adventures are designed for all experience levels, from first-time paddlers and riders to seasoned outdoors people. Your guide will match the route and pace to your group, provide a full safety briefing, and handle all route planning and logistics.
How much does a guided ATV tour cost?
Guided ATV tours come in two formats: a 3-hour tour at $325 per rider (snacks and water included) and a full-day tour at $450 per rider (packed lunch, snacks, and water included). A $200 booking deposit per rider holds your spot and is refunded at the end of your ride day, plus a $200 damage deposit per rider held until equipment is returned in good condition. Self-serve ATV rentals are also available at $350 per day or $1,500 per week (single rider, 18+ with valid Ontario licence, $5,000 security deposit, $200 cleaning fee if returned dirty). When can I book a guided snowmobile tour?
Guided snowmobile tours run during the winter season on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) trail system. Winter 2026/2027 rates will be released this fall. Call (705) 791-3573 to be added to the priority reservation list.
